Celestine resource map
Current exported Celestine markers are shown as a scouting layer. Use the full map for filtering, then verify reachability, depth, and hazards in your save.
Celestine matters when your next blocker shifts from basic survival to deeper travel, better tools, and Tadpole upgrades. Treat the first trip as a targeted resource run: collect enough for the craft blocking you now, then come back with better gear before trying to farm every marker.
Use the Celestine map first
Start with the Celestine map filter. The current marker export includes a large Celestine group, which makes the map a better starting point than guessing from a general biome name.
Use those markers as scouting points:
- Open the Celestine marker layer.
- Pick a cluster that looks reachable with your current Tadpole depth, oxygen, and tool setup.
- Plan a return route before dropping into deeper terrain.
- Leave if the cluster sits past your vehicle depth, harvest tool, or hazard margin.
This site has not yet tested the safest start point, exact swim path, harvest tool, or respawn behavior in the current build. Do not risk a long inventory run until you have confirmed the first marker cluster in your own save.
Refine Celestine into Strontium
The local export lists Strontium as a Processor recipe:
| Craft | Station in export | Cost | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strontium | Processor | 2 Celestine | 1 Strontium |
Celestine is also used directly by some progression crafts, so do not automatically process every piece. Check whether your current blocker needs raw Celestine or refined Strontium before using the Processor.
Spend the first pieces on progression
The local export links Celestine and Strontium to these important crafts:
| Craft | Station in export | Celestine / Strontium cost | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tadpole Depth Module Mk. 1 | Modification Station | 3 Celestine | Opens safer deeper travel once the rest of the recipe is ready. |
| Modification Station | Builder Tool | 2 Celestine | Unlocks upgrade crafting if you have the blueprint and other materials. |
| Tadpole Haul Chassis | Vehicle Fabricator | 3 Strontium | Adds the cargo/passenger Tadpole chassis path. |
| Feedback Resonator | Modification Station | 2 Strontium | Upgrades the Sonic Resonator path for tougher interactions. |
| Strike Armor | Modification Station | 2 Strontium | Helps with vehicle damage pressure when creature contact is the problem. |
| Cavitation Muffler | Modification Station | 2 Strontium | Reduces Tadpole noise when travel safety is the blocker. |
If your next trip needs depth, keep raw Celestine for Tadpole Depth Module Mk. 1 first. If the blocker is a vehicle or tool upgrade, refine only the Strontium you need for that craft.
Prepare for a deeper material trip
Before treating Celestine as a repeatable farm, confirm these in your save:
- Whether the closest marker cluster is reachable with your current Tadpole depth module.
- Whether Celestine deposits require Sonic Resonator, Feedback Resonator, or another tool.
- Whether nearby creatures, caves, heat, or vertical distance make the route risky.
- Whether deposits respawn or each marker should be treated as a one-time pickup.
- Whether the live recipe costs still match the exported data.
This keeps the first run focused: map the cluster, collect enough for the next craft, then return with screenshots and route notes before planning bulk farming.
Quick checklist
- Decide whether your blocker needs raw Celestine or refined Strontium.
- Open the Celestine map filter and choose one reachable cluster.
- Bring the Tadpole, enough oxygen margin, and any resonance tool your save suggests.
- Collect only as far as depth and hazards allow.
- Refine Celestine into Strontium only when a Strontium craft is ready.
- Save the first pieces for depth, vehicle, or tool progression before decorative crafts.
- Recheck route, harvest, and recipe assumptions after major patches.
Sources and current limits
Crafting and map guidance comes from local exported item, recipe, and marker data. Current search results are useful scouting leads, but this page does not confirm a tested fastest route, exact safe path, harvest tool, node count, respawn behavior, or hazard profile yet.
