Conduit Crystal is worth planning before you swim out for it. The current export shows it feeding several advanced crafts, and the first pieces can disappear quickly if you build upgrades in the wrong order.
Check what you need before the trip
Open the Modification Station and decide which blocker you are solving. The current exported recipes show:
| Craft | Station in export | Conduit Crystal cost | Other listed materials |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bioscanner | Modification Station | 3 | Scanner, 2 Enameled Glass |
| Feedback Resonator | Modification Station | 2 | Sonic Resonator, 2 Enameled Glass, 2 Strontium |
The local item export also lists Conduit Crystal in Advanced Battery, Improved Fins, Axum Interface Chip DNL, and Entangled Power Cell. If Bioscanner or Feedback Resonator is your immediate objective, keep enough crystals for that recipe before spending extras elsewhere.
Use the route as a scouting lead
Current community route coverage points toward the Alien Ruins / Angel Comb-style landmark area, with Conduit Crystal nodes described around alien structures and deeper nearby ledges. Use that as a scouting target, not as a guaranteed safe route.
Before leaving, prepare for a mid-game dive:
- Bring the Tadpole and check your current depth module.
- Bring the Sonic Resonator if your route source or in-game objective suggests tool interaction.
- Leave room in storage for several crystals.
- Mark your return path before chasing a deeper ledge.
- Turn back if the route pushes past your oxygen, depth, or hazard margin.
This site has not verified exact Conduit Crystal coordinates in the current build yet, and the current map marker export does not expose a Conduit Crystal resource layer.
Spend the first crystals carefully
Use the first Conduit Crystal batch on the upgrade that opens the next task in your save:
- Bioscanner if scanning progress is the blocker.
- Feedback Resonator if tool interaction or route progression is the blocker.
- Advanced Battery or Improved Fins only if mobility or power is what is stopping you.
- Axum Interface Chip DNL or Entangled Power Cell only after checking their full crafting chain and current objective.
If you are not sure, store the crystals and come back after checking your active blueprints. Conduit Crystal is easier to waste than early materials because several attractive upgrades compete for the same pieces.
What to verify before farming
Do these checks before treating a route as repeatable:
- Whether the pickup site is still near the same Alien Ruins / Angel Comb landmark in your build.
- Whether a Sonic Resonator, Feedback Resonator, or another tool is required to harvest or reveal the crystal.
- Whether the dive requires Tadpole Depth Module Mk. 1 or a deeper upgrade.
- Whether nearby hazards make the route unsafe without the Tadpole parked close.
- Whether Conduit Crystal respawns after collection.
- Whether every recipe still has the same material cost after the latest patch.
Quick checklist
- Decide whether Bioscanner, Feedback Resonator, or another craft is the real blocker.
- Prepare Enameled Glass and the base tool or scanner before collecting crystals.
- Scout the Alien Ruins / Angel Comb route lead with the Tadpole nearby.
- Do not assume the site map can show Conduit Crystal nodes yet.
- Return after your first confirmed pickup instead of overextending deeper.
- Craft the upgrade that solves your current objective first.
- Recheck route, harvest, and recipe assumptions after major patches.
Sources and current limits
Crafting-use guidance comes from local exported item and blueprint data. The route lead comes from community guide coverage and still needs current-build verification by this site. This page does not confirm exact coordinates, fastest route, node count, harvest method, respawn behavior, or hazard safety yet.
